We ordered a veggie pizza and a side of their Mushroom rice. The pizza was great, toppings were plentiful, and sauce was delicious. The rice though, stole the show. I wasn't expecting much from it, as it was for my kid. But it was more akin to a mushroom risotto than just a simple "side". Very delicious, delicate mushroom flavour, and nice and buttery. Service was also great, owner and staff were all very friendly, felt like I was visiting an aunt or uncles place. We'll be back!

Just want to start by saying the absolute kindness and generosity Josie and Pat bring to running a small business, warms your heart. As a new customer I was just happy to try any options recommended, in the end Pat made us a veal sandwhich on freshly made bread, freshly sliced provolone, and even cooked the veal fresh as they had run out. It’s these moments of appreciation, that really make you realize the difference in supporting local.

I haven’t been to Sapori di Italia many times, but every time I go, I ask myself why I don’t come more often. It’s the kind of classic Italian bakery that just feels good the moment you walk in. Their espresso tastes like Italy — truly! And the cannoli? Oh my gosh. Just order them. A hidden gem that deserves all the love.

One of a kind in Stouffville!! We heard about the place from my fiancée’s mother when we were talking about buying fresh pasta for a dinner over the long weekend. We were greeted by Josie, who offered us fresh baked goods, absolutely delicious! We picked out some of the gnocchi, mushroom ravioli and some jars of sauce. At the same time, we had to think about dinner for the rest of the family, and were worried about asking for stuff from the hot table. But it wasn’t a problem! 5 Veal sandwiches before closing, with sautéed peppers and onions and mozzarella. Absolutely amazing veal which was all fresh. Fresh bread. Just an amazing spot and will definitely be back to try more! Thanks Pat and Josie!!!!!

The hype is real! Finally tried the Veal Sandwich—hands down the best I’ve had in years, and it’s massive (had to save half for later!). Grabbed some baked goods too—Pat let me sample a few and sneakily added croissants to my order. Huge shoutout to Pat & Josie for the warm, friendly service. Everything was amazing—especially the Apple Fritters! Can’t wait to come back.

Authentic Italian Food and bakery. Fresh as Fresh can be. The owner and staff extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed as you come in. Amazing food handled with care. All menu items are made from scratch, dough made daily, baked goods and desserts made fresh and have many options to take home frozen made lasagna and all different kinds of pasta. If you are not getting a hot dish the day of. Espresso hits the spot. Looking forward to more meals for the family here.

Walked into this place accidentally because of trick or treating along the main Street but came out with giant and delicious meatball sandwiches on fresh focaccia bread. The aroma was too enticing and amazing to pass up. The size of the sandwich was much bigger than I expected and the meatballs were melt in your mouth delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely amazing experience at this local Italian shop! I stopped in for a veal sandwich (ended up getting some dessert as well) and was blown away by the kindness of the family running the place. The owners are lovely, and their hospitality is unmatched. They made fresh focaccia bread for my sandwich, I actually got to watch them bake it from scratch! While I was waiting, they generously offered me a croissant and an espresso, which made the experience even more special. Had some great conversations with them, and you can tell they truly love what they do. The food was incredible, and the warmth of this place makes it a must-visit. Highly recommend!
